Colleen Hanabusa Cosponsors 62 Pieces of Legislation Through June 1

June 29, 2011

From day one, Colleen Hanabusa has fought to make a difference. In her first year in Congress—a time when many lawmakers are content to rest on their laurels and kick back—Colleen has already cosponsored dozens of bills.

Some of the bills are on familiar topics, like national defense and educational opportunity. Some of the bills were cut down by the GOP—like Colleen’s fight to lower congressional pay. But regardless of the topic of the legislation, what they have in common is a tireless, dogged determination working every day to advance them. What they have in common is Colleen Hanabusa.
